"Two and a half years ago I reached a horrible stage in my life. I did not know it at the time but it was called rock bottom. At this stage I was fully addicted to drugs. Through a dear friend I found Carole who was willing to help someone like me in my condition. Carole believed in me when everybody else gave up. She made me feel safe. She made me feel there is hope and I do deserve a second chance. I could open up to Carole. She had one thing in mind and that was to help me. She never gave up. Carole helped me to realise that I needed more help and I was willing to get help. I am proud to say that I am 18 months sober today. I have a new outlook on life, I know a new freedom and a new happiness."
